On Aug.7, good news came from Chengdu Branch of Panzhihua Iron & SteelInternational Trade Co., Ltd. that the first batch of over 400 tons oflarge-size screw thread steels produced by Panzhihua Metal Products Co. Ltd. ofPanzhihua Iron & Steel (hereinafter referred to as Metal Products)successfully used in Chengdu Tianfu International Airport project. This airportis located in Lujia Town, Jianyang, Gaoxin East District, Chengdu, 51kilometers away from Tianfu Square. It is the largest civil transportation hubairport project under the national “13th Five-Year Plan” and is positioned as anational-level international aviation hub and an airport of the highest classin the “Silk Road Economic Belt”. It undertakes all international routesdeparture from Chengdu. On May 27, 2016, the construction of the airport wasfully started. The first phase of the project will be basically completed in2020. It is understood that this batch of products of Panzhihua Iron &Steel are mainly to be used at certain sections of the road of phase II ofTianfu International Airport terminal and transportation hub.
