According to the data in askci database, themain operating revenue of China's steel industry in the first half of 2018reached 3.0525 trillion yuan, with a cumulative growth of 15.8%. The operatingincome of steel industry of China in the recent six years has been stable, andthe cumulative growth rate has been gradually increasing since 2015. From 2012to 2017, China's steel industry maintained a stable trend as a whole. Accordingto the prediction of askci, China's steel industry will continue to maintain astable and long-term trend in 2018. It is expected that the revenue of China'ssteel industry will exceed 800 billion yuan in 2018.

In 2016, the main operating revenue of China's steel industry reached 631.73billion yuan, with a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%. In 2017, the steel industryrealized a total income of 67,42.96 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increaseof 22.4%. According to the prediction of related experts of China InvestmentCorporation, the main business income of China's steel industry will reach 6.97trillion yuan with an average annual compound growth rate of about 3.80% in thenext five years (2018-2022), and will reach 8.09 trillion yuan in 2022.
